The Official 2024/25 Premier League Thread

Not according to the commentators. I seem to remember a few years ago yellows for league and cups were separated.

Fair hadn’t heard that. I guess the Dutch authorities could still object. But I guess Frankfurt fans might just coach in and out on game day. Probably a 5 hour drive.

A bit old but according to this post if there is an issue, the 50km is close. AZ get priority as they finished higher in last years domestic league...

Thinking about this a bit more. I wonder if UEFA would be happy with a Tuesday game. Could work out nicely for us. We don’t play the weekend before as out of the FA cup. Previous game the Wednesday before, Emirates Marketing Project, then we play Bournemouth on the Sunday. Would nicely spread the games out.

Wonder if they will switch the H/A legs round on one of the ties. Can’t see them wanting Frankfurt and spurs fans potentially in Amsterdam at the same time even if they moved one to Wednesday.

Circus ManUnitus - Nobody's At The Wheel

I seem to remember something about one of the old share holders getting into a dispute over a horse with Ferguson which was part of why they sold. So basically Ferguson caused it! On a side note I was thinking does Luke Shaw sum up the running of that club over the last 10 years. Averaged less...

    Football and money

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c78xpp3vlkko Well this could open a can of worms. Didn’t Saudi Sportswashing Machine get some sponsorships blocked? Can’t see how Masters can stay in charge probably a pretty untenable position now.

    OMT ** Tottenham Hotspur v Man United ** 16/2/25 - KO at 4.30pm.

My thought process with Davies over Gray is we can have Sarr and Gray on the bench to freshen up the midfield in the 2nd half. Maddison could also be used there, but with us being a bit light in the final 3rd he might be used in the wide left position as a sub.

    OMT ** Tottenham Hotspur v Man United ** 16/2/25 - KO at 4.30pm.

knowing the injury news now I think I’d start something like Vic Porro Danso Davies Spence Bossouma Bentancur Bergvall Kulusevski Tel Son Bench would then have Kinsky, Udogie, Gray, Sarr, Scarlett, Maddison, Regulion, Moore, Ajayi Actually have options to bring on!

    OMT ** Tottenham Hotspur v Man United ** 16/2/25 - KO at 4.30pm.

That is my thinking as well. I think Udogie and Maddison will start on the bench anyway. The only returning player that might start will be Vic in goal.

If Udogie starts who would you choose at RB? Spence or Porro?

    Micky van de Ven

If this is true, then it would be a very recent development as it was only last Thursday we submitted the Europa squad. We wouldn’t have retained him in that if he was already out.

    Injuries

Was just looking to see when we had such a gap between fixtures as we have this week. 6 days without a game, the last time we had close to that was 5 between Wolves and Saudi Sportswashing Machine over New Years and the last time equal or longer was back in August between Everton and Saudi Sportswashing Machine when we had 7 clear...

Radio Times website says presenter Mark Pougach and analysis Robbie Fowler and Les Ferdinand. Although I assume this will likely mean Sam Matterface and maybe Lee Dixon, think Dixon is normal on ITV comms.

    Mason Melia

So I see the LOI is about to start again. So gets a full season in and then has November/December off before being able to complete the transfer. So probably will come in during December to start training.
