Who invented the concept of drinking cows milk?

There may well be a market for people who like to buy a product that involves forced arificial insemination, separation of mothers and calves at birth, killing of male calves, brutal mechanical milking processes, and all round brick treatment of innocent animals...but that doesn't make it right.

    Canning Town Bingo Club

It's not about how close you are in terms of trophies - rivalries are much more complex than that. We have a long-standing rivalry with West Ham which Arsenal simply don't have. There are large parts of East London and Essex where the two most popular teams are Tottenham and West Ham. I very...

    The London Thread.

When at gigs I want a high strength beer. Otherwise you're wasting your time filling yourself with liquid, which leads to unwanted missions to the bogs.

I wonder if Gilberto or Roque Junior would have got into the Northern Irish B team?

    Laser Eye Surgery

I'd love to get my eyes fixed. Last time I checked it wasn't a goer though...I suffer from dry eyes which can be problematic. Also I don't think it would get me back to 20:20 vision as my prescription is pretty strong at the moment (-8.5 in one eye, -6.75 in the other). I live in hope.

Who invented the concept of drinking cows milk?

Cow's milk is for calves, not humans.

    Footballers that are Spurs-fans?

He supported United as a boy, although a lot of his friends and family are Spurs. Add Andros Townsend to the list

    Accents

Not really. I work with a lot of extremely bright Americans and none of them sound (to me) anywhere near as intelligent as they clearly are. That's not to say that I dislike all American accents, it's just that I don't immediately associate them with intelligence. Same goes for Brummies. I...

If Redknapp says he's not going, then that means he loves us and would never dream on walking out on us.

    Ryan Nelsen

Very good player. Although I'm a little surprised by the signing, given that he hasn't played all season. Not much point having an experienced backup player if he is always out injured. If he manages to regain fitness, then he could be a useful stop gap solution until Caulker comes back.

New Stadium and Training Ground - Pg 104 Northumberland Park master plan

It suddenly appeared at the end of our first full season under Jol (when we finished 5th - our most successful season in over a decade). Prior to that there was no waiting list - I managed to get two season tickets next to each other in my block of choice in the Park Lane. Since then there has...

    The Low Camera Angle

Message I received from Sky Customer Support: Thank you for your recent enquiry. Please allow me to explain. With regards to the camera angle it has been changed just for the Tottenham ground as it is believed by the Production team to be an altogether better viewer experience. The...

pub/bar/club recommendations in camden (and elsewhere in london)

My favourite two pubs in Camden are the Edinboro Castle (corner of Mornington Terrace and Delancey Street), and BrewDog (on Bayham Street - only opened recently). For music, Roundhouse, Jazz Cafe and Koko are good venues, although none are likely to play dance music this early in the week.
