    The race for 86 points

I think in the region of 77 points will be required to guarantee top 4. We should be targeting that as a bare minimum.

    ***OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Boro***

Agree with this. He can look frustrating but he's always trying to do something. Yesterday I thought he had a great game. You've called out all his big moments - who else got near that level yesterday? Eriksen created one superb through ball for Alli but that was it. Also thought Son was...

***OMT TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR v Emirates Marketing Project***

Sorry I meant that I didn't think Pep's tactics would work as effectively if we'd been in a back 4 shape from the start.

***OMT TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR v Emirates Marketing Project***

Personally I don't see it that the wing backs were pinned back. If they were pinned back there would've been no gaps in between the 3 centre halves when in fact the wide forwards - Sane/Sterling were making runs from out to in to exploit the space either side of Toby. Our 3 is deliberately...

    The race for 86 points

agreed - we can't be sure of anything until after the Liverpool game. We'll have a very clear view of our objectives then. Hopefully we'll be close to Chelsea or we could be playing catch-up for 4th. 4 massive games coming up.

***OMT TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR v Aston Villa***

yep - mid 90s under Brian Little. Pretty sure they finished 3rd with Ehiogu, Southgate and 1 more playing in a back 3? They were pretty successful up until about 97/98ish (I think once they'd spent a shedload on Collymore it didn't go according to plan).

    Mauricio Pochettino - Sacked

Its been organic growth under Poch, you can see it when you step back. 2014/15 - clear out the deadwood, promote youth. Mixed results but you could see sporadic progress - reaching a cup final and in particular the performances against Chelsea & Arsenal at home. Against both we played the...

    2nd half of the season...

Yes I get that but the point I was trying to make was that the teams above (& Utd below) have all picked up at least 2 away wins against the top 10, we have yet to muster 1 and we only have 3 teams left to play - Emirates Marketing Project, Livepool & Southampton? That's why we're a couple of points back on the...

    2nd half of the season...

Good threat & good stats. We need to buck our ideas up away from home. I had a quick scan at the other teams - they've all got 17+ points away from home while we've managed a paltry 10 points. That needs to change in the 2nd half of the season as well as maintaining strong home form.

    Moussa Sissoko

I will never get that attitude. Surely we all win if a player improves? I see a lot of bitter geordies trolling the Spurs/Sissoko twitter account. Nothing would give me greater pleasure than for him to prove them wrong. I don't understand Spurs fans weighing along with them.
