    Fixture & Ticket News 2016/17

This is how I see it. Along similar lines I've been going to my "local" away games for the last 20 years. I haven't had a problem getting a ticket for Saudi Sportswashing Machine/Sunderland/Middlesbrough until last season. Saudi Sportswashing Machine, obviously was because we thought we might be lifting the title on the last...

*** Tottenham Hotspur vs Scum OMT ***

For most of last season Dier was dropping between the centre-halves when we were in possession so I would suggest we were already playing this system with the ball. Not a massive leap to play that way without the ball - a centre-half was encouraged to come forwards with the ball to start play...

*** Tottenham Hotspur vs Scum OMT ***

Its the same petulance that was shown by the team he produced in the latter part of the last decade. Spoilt brats like Fabregas/van Persie/Nasri who couldn't accept if they'd lost. Its clear where that attitude was coming from... Personally I don't get why he'd come out and make ludicrous...

    Mauricio Pochettino - Sacked

I've read 7 times, more than any other club.

    Mauricio Pochettino - Sacked

Yes, Leverkusen were very good at pressing us into mistakes but I didn't think they were particularly good once they had the ball either. A really good team would've exploited our shortcomings and won by 3 or 4 goals. Re experienced heads - yes cut out the mistakes but I think launching to the...

Why are we struggling to score this season?

I think Poch's workaround/plan B means we switch to 4-1-4-1 when Dembele is out. Wanyama the dedicated DM and the 4 in front have more licence to roam forwards in support of the striker. It certainly looked that way to me on Wednesday at Wembley.

Why are we struggling to score this season?

I think (or hope) the form of the 3 behind the CF maybe linked to not having Kane's intelligent movement/runs ahead of them. Agree about Dembele.

    Mauricio Pochettino - Sacked

I honestly think, certainly in the opening 3 games of that group that teams massively underestimated us. Bremen, Twente & Inter all thought they were better than us. They opened up and attacked us which left massive space in behind which we exploited magnificently. This time the group is...

Why are we struggling to score this season?

Agree. I think we've been struggling to score for a number of reasons. The main one for me is that having watched a bit of Janssen now, I think he likes to play with his back to goal and doesn't make the channel style runs like Kane so Alli/Eriksen/Lamela have no-one to thread the ball through...

    Moussa Sissoko

    This is my interpretation.

    Moussa Sissoko

The question is was he trying to protect the ball/himself by putting his arm across Arter's path so he could grab the ball, take the throw and get on with the game or did he throw an elbow towards Arter? Massively open to interpretation. Arter was hardly a shining example of sportsmanship...

    Moussa Sissoko

I think Arter's approach caused the incident. I can't say whether it was intentional or not but Sissoko would not have raised that arm if he hadn't been chasing to grab a ball that was 3 yards over the touchline anyway. He was over-hyped all game and ran closer to the line than Lamela did in...

    Moussa Sissoko

Agreed and as I said above, Arter was mischief making in the first place when he went chasing after Sissoko 3 yards over the touchline. I don't see what we can do given the FA are the governing body unfortunately.
  18. T

    Moussa Sissoko

What was Harry Arter doing chasing the ball off the pitch? The ball was kicked against him and went out of play for a throw-in to Spurs. Sissoko went to get the ball and Arter chased after him/the ball as a spoiling tactic to slow the game or just to generally wind-up Sissoko. He shouldn't...

    Toby Alderweireld

If you're talking about his pass on halfway that was intercepted, I think that should've been given as a foul by Gradel on Dembele. Dier played the ball that was intercepted and at the same time Gradel tugged Dembele back and ran past him. Dembele to his massive credit got back and cut out the...
