    Giovani Lo Celso

Would really like to see him in place of Moura on the right.

    Tanguy Ndombele

It's his running style, he will always look slightly awkward/unfit. The main issue is that he's far too reactive off the ball, he doesn't position himself very well or close down the space.

    Serge Aurier

The best thing Jose has done so far is move Aurier as far away from our goal as possible.

    OMT Tottenham Hotspur v RSB

Curious to know what position you see him playing?

    Moussa Sissoko

I think it's safe to say Poch rates Sissoko's qualities.

    Tanguy Ndombele

Well if you watched him play for Lyon, you're aware of what he is capable of. I don't think anyone was suggesting he played well against Leicester. But surely it makes sense to look at his body of work when talking about being excited about a player. One game isn't really a big enough sample...

    Tanguy Ndombele

If nothing about watching a player like Ndombele excites you, then I don't know what you're watching. He can do things very few players in his position can do. We just need to be patient.

    Tanguy Ndombele

People will continually make comments about him looking laboured, that's just his running style. Safe to say he isn't up to speed yet though. Can't help but think that both he and Winks would benefit from having Dier playing behind them. Neither players have the defensive instincts necessary...

***OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v Saudi Sportswashing Machine***

Doesn't sound like Lo Celso is ready to start yet.

    Paulo Dybala

    This is my take, too

    Paulo Dybala

Someone made the comparison with VdV which I think is pretty fair, but a better dribbler/runner. Equally like VdV, can be a bit of a luxury.

    Paulo Dybala

They're different types of players, there's no connection.

    Paulo Dybala

This is most likely the classic 'see, we tried to sign big players' tactic.

    Bruno Fernandes

You know that's not the type of player he is though right?

    Giovani Lo Celso

If we get the player then people won't mind.

    Giovani Lo Celso

I think he played in a deeper role for PSG which he wasn't as suited to.

    Moussa Sissoko

I was disagreeing with your point that "Sissoko has taken over the role of being the player in our midfield to progress the ball up the field". But it seems like we agree that actually this is Winks' role. It will be interesting to see how we line up with Ndombele. I would assume it would be...

    Moussa Sissoko

Winks definitely played deeper. If Sissoko receives the ball from the centrebacks it is most likely going backwards or sideways, unless he spots an opening to run in to. This is why I disagree with his task being to progress the ball forward. Being positioned slightly further forward does not...

    Moussa Sissoko

I would argue that his role is a more defensive one than box to box. If Pochettino is asking him to perform a role he is not suited to, then that in itself would be strange (particularly as Winks is clearly better at said role). But stranger than that, he has had his best season in English...

    Moussa Sissoko

This is not Sissoko's role in the team. You can't give a player this role when they can't comfortably receive the ball under pressure, and pass in forwards consistently. You would be relying on his ability to run passed players, which is not reliable.
