They've already started work on a new stadium too, so we'll take that too, speed up our building process.

4-1 in Jan 1996? Two days before my 16th birthday, great present :) A sodding long while ago now though!

They're hammering United at the moment, great performance. Bielsa to replace Harry (if he goes to England) and he can bring Llorente with him :)

    Fixture & Ticket News

Good point. I'm still pretty sure we'll sell it out, but it would really show how far the FA Cup has fallen if a club like ours, with our tradition in the cup, didn't sell out a quarter-final. I also agree about the semi being at Wembley taking away from the occasion. I'm about 15 minutes from...

    Fixture & Ticket News

Why the talk of not selling out? I'd really be shocked if we failed to sell this out. We sell out against Bolton in the Premier League and that's at Cat B prices. I know they've gotta sell 'em quick but this is Cat C prices, FA Cup quarter final, and a chance to seal a place in a Wembley...

*TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs Stevenage OMT *

Really looking forward to this, nothing beats a night game at the Lane. Hopefully we'll put on a good performance and get a comfortable win to give us a little pick-me-up and get that winning feeling back after the blip of the last couple of results. COYS!

    The Goon Thread

Nicked from Spooky on twitter: Szczesny: "I would not settle right now for fourth place. We are 4 pts behind the other north London club, I am not going to say their name" A sentence or so later in the interview: "We won two fantastic games against Liverpool and Tottenham" - FAIL you fudging...

Come on, that isn't a very nice thing to say. No way do dingdongs deserve to be compared to Szczesny!

    Jake Livermore

It's great to see one of our youngsters progressing so well, he deserves a lot of praise for the performances he's put in this season. I wouldn't slag off any of our players (unless they're a total ****, any player in a Spurs shirt will get my support) but being honest, if I was asked at the...

Our best result of ther season so far?

I was definitely wrong to say often but there are instances where teams have done well against the other top teams but finished lower than those results would suggest they should. Last season Arsenal and Man Utd had the best "top four only" records (both got 10 points) yet Arsenal only finished...

Our best result of ther season so far?

A few times when looking back at past PL champions the team that has won the title often hasn't had the best of results against the other "big four" teams, but just kept on racking up the points against the lesser clubs while their rivals dropped silly points. It doesn't matter where you get...

Our best result of ther season so far?

I think the best result is how well we've done collectively against the teams we should be beating. Against teams currently 10th or lower in the league, we've played 14, won 12, drawn 2, lost 0. If we keep up that kind of form against the "lesser" teams I'm positive we'll finish 3rd.

    O/T AVB Sacked by Cheatski

Yes, Harry has a massive hard on for Chelsea. Well, either that, or he was saying that Chelsea is the one job that could tempt Mourhino because he's an ex-Chelsea manager who previously had massive success there and who has stated on more than one occasion how much he loves Chelsea. Nah...

A short article about Redknapp and the Chelsea job that only contains quotes from Redknapp about the Chelsea job? Shocking!

    3rd Place or FA Cup?

If it's a choice between 3rd and no cup, or 4th and FA Cup, I'd go with the latter. It's been far too long since we've won the FA Cup! If you changed it to 3rd and no cup, or 5th and FA Cup however.... sadly I'd probably go for the league placing, which is a sad indication of the way modern...

New Stadium and Training Ground - Pg 104 Northumberland Park master plan

I'm sure they'll soon get used to it, playing on it every other week and training nearly every day on pitches the exact same size at the new training centre (which they'll have been doing for a few years before the stadium gets built anyway).

    Kyle Walker

Fair play to Walker for admitting he wasn't at his best today (yesterday!). I think considering his age, lack of experience, etc., he's had a very good season for us overall. Yes he's got a lot to work on, but what player his age doesn't? The experience he's gaining from being a first team...

    Still, on a good note

In the end it doesn't matter where we get the points from, as long as we get enough to finish in the top three! Also, we may have not picked up as many points as we'd hoped for against the teams near the top of the league, but the fact that we're still ahead of the chasing pack shows that they...
