    Emirates Marketing Project

Unfortunately, yes. Spent all this money on this incredible, sprawling campus literally next door to the stadium, and yet little desire to incorporate these awesome talents into the first team. Instead they'd rather loan them out to other members of the 'CFG' in order to increase market value...

    The FA Cup 2017/2018

He's just upset, because teams seem to be getting away with tackles like these extremely regularly against us. For example, Alli and Kane, Puncheon and Dann (injured Gabriel Jesus for about 5 weeks), a game against Saudi Sportswashing Machine where Gundogan's knee was studded, and that's just since December...

The Official 2017/18 Premier League Thread

And just like that, the Liverpool hype train has started its annual grinding halt. Was anybody really convinced that last week's result was "Next season's champions beating this season's champions"? Like I said, you boys are going to absolutely steamroll them.

They have both been fantastic for 95% of the season. They've adjusted and learned from Guardiola superbly. But there are just as many people that underrate England's players as there are that overrate them just because they're English, so I don't blame you for thinking that.

I've seen us have many, many, many worse results than that. Since we scored 10 home goals all season c. 2005, I really don't mind losing as long as I'm entertained. I appreciate the compliment though!

Was a great game, shame we lost our heads completely for that ten minutes. A lot of those performances were similar to how we played last season. Fernandinho was off, but he's allowed one this season. So too Sterling. Gundogan is an absolute turkey, and Aguero just doesn't suit us at all. I...

    The Carabao Cup 2017/18

As brick as it is, it's satirising Bristol's 'Goal GIFs', which are satire themselves. Doesn't stop me cringing, like more or less everything that involves football and social media.

Why do you think I come to a Spurs forum to talk about City?

That only tempts teams to park the bus even more to be honest. Although something tells me you weren't interested in joining the conversation, you only really wanted to make sure people "Don't forget about the money!!". Which is fine, I should add. I'm fully aware a lot of people don't...

I think having a very loud, highly influential, extremely successful and supremely headstrong (read: arrogant) manager is the long and short of it to be honest.

Yeah, I was surprised by that too. By far the most open game we've played since Napoli away, which is a surprise considering they're bottom of the league and we're on a roll. Their midfield today consisted of players with a non-too dissimilar style to our own midfield, which indicated they...

    Champions League 2017/18

Bürki isn't Turkish, is he? Not entirely sure what he is, apart from utter gash. Really surprised how well English clubs are doing this year. Especially considering we were in danger of losing our fourth qualifying spot to Italy last year, weren't we? Also pleases me that the best performing...

    ( . Y . ) Tottenham v Chelsea | OMT ( . Y . )

Don't know how aware you are of it but xG (expected goals) has been getting a lot of traction recently, in regards to how much better it represents a match than just 'Shots on Target' and 'Possession'. That might be what you're talking about. I think I remember seeing the xG for the game...

    Kyle Walker

Quite pleased with it in all honesty. Its been said on this thread before, but after Alves fell through my immediate reaction was fear of being priced out of Walker. But surprisingly it seems the asking price didn't change at all. Levy's ability to get the best price is his most famous quality...

Come on, man. You know as well as I how much bull this is. Our performances under Guardiola have been a level above Pellegrini's final season. Remarkable how much Guardiola is seemingly underrated here. Reactionary 21st century football, I suppose.

***OMT TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR v Emirates Marketing Project***

Alright GGers. Was going to do a big write-up after today's game, but think I'll just keep it brief, because who can be arsed with that. Coming out of the ground my Dad said to me "You know what, everyone in the top 6 will be happy with that result" and I couldn't agree more. Obviously, being...

OT - How long have you been a member of GG?

Been around for a few redesigns. Used to be called Man Sheikhy, thank GHod the servers nuked themselves, what an awful name... It was around the time Danchev was an unpopular guy, must have been around 2008-ish.

Nah not at all, just wondering why you feel the need to write that at random occasions when City are mentioned. The topic wasn't even about City, or spending, or FFP, or wealthy owners, or stadiums, or youth policies, or any other platform criticism can be debated.

Dunno about that. You never seem to not mention that whenever you talk about City.
