    The Goon Thread

There really is no other way to look at it. On 21st March they were 8 points clear, City with a game in hand. Just 2 months later, City are looking like being 10 points clear. How can this be anything but a biblical capitulation? A true bottling for the ages.

    OMT Spurs vs SomeDodgy Mancs

The writing has been on the wall for a while this season. Our squad has fell into a poor state. We have four wingers in the squad who all do the same thing - ask for it to the feet, face the defender up, then turn round and pass it back up the line (Grealish, Mahrez, Foden and Palmer - Bernardo...

    OMT Spurs vs SomeDodgy Mancs

Same as all season. Play a team that keeps the ball to protect our weak defence, until we fudge up and concede anyway. The formation doesn't matter as long as we stick to the gameplan. Oh, and hope Grealish gets somebody sent off. At least that worked, can we get a goal for that, pretty please?

Pure brick. Good news though lads: I got tickets to Beyonce in May. So maybe someone to do with City will actually score at your ground. Enjoy the three points, well deserved!

Said it in the match thread, but will elaborate here. Matches vs Spurs are the ones we're most pessimistic about - even more than United in recent years. The boos were definitely for the apparent lack of effort in these fixtures - to concede those two fudging awful goals as half-time is ticking...

*** Emirates Marketing Project Vs The mighty roosters ***

Can almost guarantee they [half-time boos] were aimed at City players. This felt like a match between the two softest teams in the league. Even though City won, there was little pride in that. Flaming-hot rubbish compared to some of the other matches between these two teams in recent years. I...

European Super League - Dead on arrival

I reckon it won't be long before Rick Parry pipes up again with those Premier League and EFL reforms that were floated a little while ago. Today is the single biggest day for football for as long as I can remember.

Got to say its puzzling me too. For about 35 minutes of the second half it looked like two knackered teams just waiting for the final whistle.

Well, the matches are never short of drama, that's for sure! No arguments from me regarding the disallowed goal. Interested on GG's thoughts of the potential foul on Rodri? I suppose that game was payback for us robbing a point at WHL in 2010-11.

    ~ OMT ~ TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR FC v Liverpool FC ~ THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL ~ 2019 ~

You might see it as a wasted opportunity now, but you were actually in Madrid. And that's what you will remember in the long run. I'm thoroughly jealous.

    ~ OMT ~ TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR FC v Liverpool FC ~ THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL ~ 2019 ~

Kane holding it up for that Son half-chance, Van Dijk didn't have a clue. Feel like that could be the way through. You've been the better team so far though (don't know if you'd want to hear that, mind!)

Absolutely awful decision that. All Spurs aren't tonight aren't we? Good luck boys.

The Official 2018/19 Premier League Thread

He's an absurdly good player - but only some of the time. Certainly not one you can count on or build a team around. He's not really proved that he can play well against teams who defend really deep, which is a problem as that's what 70% of matches are when you're one of the top 4 teams in the...

Would love for Poch in particular to get the credit he deserves. Would be beautiful to shut up the "HeS nOt WoN aNyThInG" phalanx by winning the bloody big one

What a game. Over two legs you deserved it without a doubt. Same again on Saturday? Good luck in the rest of the competition, make history.

I believe he can understand it very well, he just isn't comfortable speaking it. Tbf I presume if you spend 7 years in any foreign country you'd pick up a language to some extent.

Obviously, because these two clubs are the ones who have spent by far and away the most. Cheated in regards to which bit? If you're referencing the bit where I said my club committed fraud, then isn't it clear I agree?

    Emirates Marketing Project

From what I understand, the actual FFP regulations allow for clubs to negotiate with UEFA on their punishment if they flout them. So on that basis, I can't really criticise my club on the "choose your own punishment" front. That's more on UEFA being pushovers, and being fearful of some...

Right: we massively failed in his first season, upgraded two first team positions, started breaking every record in the book, and you think Pep deserves minimal credit? Really?
