*** The official 2025/26 Premier League thread ***

I mean in honesty, as much as it’s a shame, who cares. It’s actually more important that they beat West Ham and we stay up. It’s in our hands and as much as it will be brick to see them win the title, it’ll be as an anti football, brick side and not memorable in a season where let’s face it, they haven’t really had any proper challenge, City have struggled all season and only Arsenal trying to bottle it brought them back in. Liverpool, United, Chelsea all having shockers too.

If they didn’t win it this season with all of that and being reffed to a different standard from all other teams they should fold the club.

City need Arsenal to lose really unless they can overturn the 4 goals difference
Not quite sure how this has happened. Really thought after City beat them at the Etihad that that was it.

Arsenal being allowed to go 6 points clear by playing 2 more at this stage of the season has helped them massively.

The way they misuse Haaland is quite something. You think about him at Bayern, PSG, Barca or Real and they would create chance after chance for him.

It's not even difficult to do. He makes poor passes and crosses look like good ones. He can give defenders 5-10 yards on a ball over the top and still win it. The amount of runs he makes for City, only for somone to check back inside and play a 5 yard pass is just bonkers.

1-0 going for a title and they had no urgency to get the ball in the box. deserved what they go in my mind.

I'd like to call into question the integrity of Chelsea FC for getting battered 3-1 by a much changed Nottingham Forest side yesterday. Five changes for Forest was it? Forest were clearly trying to throw the game too but Chelsea were just better at it.

According to all the brick I've seen online and some mainstream media, when a team makes that many changes, whoever plays them should be beating them easy like we did with Aston Villa.

You really have to wonder why our game attracted so much attention for that reason?

To keep the traction going. They need the narrative that we could still go down for their clicks. It’s been insane the amount of comment I’ve read and heard today, way more than any other similar situation that I can remember

I think a lot of fans of other clubs dislike us because we beat them year-in-year out.

Just did a quick stat crunch on the years we were good (2015-2023).

Everton never beat us in the league.
Saudi Sportswashing Machine had zero wins until 22-23.
Villa beat us twice.
West Ham three times.

Even Man U only beat us three times.
Arsenal four.

That’s nearly a decade of getting beat by us continually. No wonder they’re excited we were in the relegation zone.

Just knew city would blow it vs Everton!

To be fair, €iteh blew it against us as much as anything!

After all Guardiola managed to pick up just 1 point against Frank this season, in stark contrast to the 6 points we gifted ASSnal and not forgetting the +10 nett goal difference advantage we’ve handed them in the title race 🤮

I genuinely believe everyone is aware that a DeZerbi Spurs with no European competition is actually quite a dangerous prospect!!!
