The *WHEN* we go down thread

Do you think if/when we go down we sign up Dele? He's obviously been using our training facilities which is good of the club to allow it. Hopefully there's still a player in there somewhere. Would be a nice fairly tale if he won us promotion back to the Premier league.
It's a lovely thought and Hollywood story.
He's 30 and failed to do anything meaningful on a football pitch since he was appx 24/25.

If he's got himself mentally to a place where he can a top level sportsman, to get to it on the pitch would be incredible, but highly unlikely.
If he's shown what he's about whilst training with us, then a pay as you play could work

So when we have our first game in the Championship , what price will Stratus tickets be and Stratus is not the most expensive premium ticket in the stadium.

Assume Championship clubs have premium seating, wonder what sort of prices they are charging, not going to be anywhere near £449.

Stratus

From £449

Enjoy stunning, panoramic views across London and the pitch from the highest vantage point in the stadium. Soak up the atmosphere with sumptuous bowl food in the form of a deconstructed three course meal, impeccable service and live music from our resident DJs - Stratus has an undeniable ‘wow’ factor.

  • Luxury padded seat/s on the halfway line of West/ East level 5
  • Access to West/ East Stratus three hours pre- and up to two hours post-match (one hour for evening games)
  • Inclusive bowl food pre- and post-match
  • Inclusive selected beers, wines and soft drinks throughout the day
  • Complimentary digital programme
D'afuk is bowl food?!
Soup?.
Cereal?
Dog food?

That period of the game when West Ham were winning, Simons getting that injury, we fell apart a bit for a while there it looked to me at least - didn't find a way to play. That period it felt like the title of this thread...

But not without a fight we won't. Really well done to the players and the manager. We found a way to regain some level of play and fought out for the win.

Its a fantasy. The guy was hopeless his last few seasons with us, and hasnt got any better since, so a non starter.

If we go down, Lankshear two goals and an assist yesterday plus Devine two assists, are bound to get game time, they are Championship proven , will they get the same opportunity if we stay up?

These are the things I romanticize about too, but I'm not sure if I'm being realistic. We definitely should use more youngsters if we go down, though. It's a potential silver lining for sure.

I’d love to see some of our youth players get a go. I feel like the club has lost its soul a bit in the last few seasons, I want to see some players who it really means something to when they play for us, they came through the system and want to make it here.

However, that is one for next season. We have a chance to go to Villa who may be distracted and get something there, and if we do and Brentford do us a favour, we’re in with a shot. I think our best hope now is keeping it tight and nicking the odd scrappy goal, I think any creativity is now in the medical room - I’d be tempted to play two up top and get them closer to one another, worked well against Liverpool (though it involved Solanke in that case).
