The *WHEN* we go down thread

Is that much worse than the Championship / majority of farmers teams in Bundesliga??
Judging by the defender tackling thin air when it was easier to get the ball and the GK deciding to sit down instead of keep goal....I'd say yes.

Every time I've watched MLS over the last few years, it looks like the French second division with the odd sprinkle of talent.
The good is good. It's mostly average. But the bad wouldn't be professionals in a lot of Europe

Must admit I’ve not watched much MLS aside from the occasional bit of Sonaldo but the fact that Burnley got 100 points in the Championship last season plus conceded a league best 16 goals yet are utter cannon-fodder for the PL gives me hope that we should be be able to win the division… unlike last time we got relegated!

Solomon has a mandatory purchase at Fionertina if they stay up for £7M.

I’d bring back Kyle Walker for a season and sell Porro.

Walker might be a remote possibility, I'm not sure why he signed for Burnley in the first place - he would surely have had better offers.

If there was one player I hope we manage to do that deal with its Simons for me. I think he's going to be a star, would love us to loan him to a PL team for a year for some more experience in this league then come back to us if promoted and be an absolute baller.

I reckon we will manage to keep Gray, Bergvall and Vuskovic for a year in the Championship, I think would be too much to ask from Simons unfortunately....

I really like Simons as well, keeps improving - definitely someone we could loan out.

I still hope we stay up and call me mad but i think we will. However IF we go down at least we will not have to put up with the VAR flimflam. I have just read that championship clubs have rejected VARse. Thank Go d.

thats going to bode well for the club that everyone else hates

the officials fudge us over with VAR, it'll be ten times worse without it

I see Coventry had a reported 7,000 fans at the Blackburn game the other day , maybe Championship clubs with larger stadiums would be willing to go above the "at least 2,000 away allocation" in the rule book if it means extra revenue, good news if your an avid away supporter regardless of the division we are playing in .

They did win the league though - not your average Saturday 3pm

There is part of me now that is over the idea of us staying up or going down. Regardless, Spurs will still be Spurs to me, the siege mentality probably grows back if we go down and I would think of stumping back up for a ST, better in adversity and all that. Likely culls a load of the idiots in the ground which makes it more attractive

Forest absolutely smashed Sunderland today. It is between us and West Ham
Just looked at the score and you beat me to it. If we don`t win tomorrow I think we are done. Can only hope we can better Spams results each week, but I wouldn`t be betting my house on it. But until its mathematically impossible to stay up I will keep on hoping and believing we are going to get enough points to survive

Do you think if/when we go down we sign up Dele? He's obviously been using our training facilities which is good of the club to allow it. Hopefully there's still a player in there somewhere. Would be a nice fairly tale if he won us promotion back to the Premier league.
