OMT Spurs vs Geordies 7.30 Tuesday 10th Feb

The worst thing is the confidence. It takes so little to make most of our players crumble. Paulinha for Bissouma helped but we jsut lack some proper senior players who can stand up, believe in themselves.

In theory Frank shoudl be good with sub-par players. But this shower are a step too far. You need some stability and quality to build around. And bar Xavi and VDV (who are both developing still) we lack quality. Odobert was one possible spark, but without him and Romero too, we look lost as soon as we step on the pitch.

Other than the dive, Xavi played well. I thought him and Gray were the ones trying to make things happen
Yeah, Xavi was positive, and watching other PL teams play he probably thought diving wasn't a yellow card offence in England.

Now I bet you he will get a reputation for being a horrible, foreign diver, unlike Salah who's been getting away with it for years.

“…I call those set-up balls…” (ie. a pass) and “You’re not going to score if the ball isn’t in the box” were two searing pieces of insight this evening. 😂

there you go, says it all

nobody in their right mind in the modern game puts any thought or effort into the idea of scoring goals at all

goals are an anachronism of the games past, we don't need them anymore, and certainly nobody wants them

I can't think of anything that upsets me more

Get get more injuries than points...

I actually can't watch us anymore, the players facing our own goal and can only pass is backwards. The slow passing, standing still and unable to make a pass... Too frustrating
