Tottenham’s Mathys Tel open to loan for more game time as World Cup looms
Mathys Tel has informed Spurs he is open to leaving on loan, frustrated at his lack of game time under Thomas Frank since a £30m move from Bayern Munichwww.theguardian.com
agree.Subbing Tel when he did was a dumb decision.
I’m not really seeing a lot from him…runs around, but loses possession too often, his crossing is average at best, and he ought to have hit the target at the very least with that chance early on yesterday. He’s made a number of bad decisions in the box in recent games.
Young and learning, of course, but a sad reflection that we’re increasingly relying on him as a starter.

He scored against Bournemouth ten days agoSays a lot that a player that hasn't come close to scoring or assisting has been our best attacker
*possibly has assisted but can't be arsed checking
Best attacker and good attacker are not the same thing sadly.Over the past month he has been our best attacker by some distance
