I no nothing of the financial status of football in Africa but assume many of the nations need the money to put into the infrastructure of the game as their governments have other priorities.

Senegal and Mane beat Egypt and Salah to make the final. Pleased at that result.
Next semi up - Nigeria Vs Morocco. This will be a tough one. Another last 4 game between the two countries in both male and female football in Morocco within the last 3 years.

We lost to Morocco. Not going to talk much about the game and refereeing there. Also not going to talk about the incessant use of green lasers. Just gonna pray that Senegal and Mane beat Morocco at home. Almost a mission impossible but my prayers are with them.
That said. Nigeria made sure Salah didn't get an effing medal. We got 3rd place. Egypt and Salah can go home empty handed.

Ghanaian referee Daniel Laryea has returned home after successfully completing his CAF assignment at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Is it me or does this kind of amateurish stuff always happen at AFCON?
Don't blame them feeling hard done by, joke decision to disallow their goal and then that was a really soft penalty for Morocco....
