*Assuming MNU beat WOL tomorrow!

Half way through a very, very disappointing season so far.

Hopefully we can do much better in the second half of the season

Amazingly we are only 4 points behind the 5th placed teams, MNU and CHE who are both pretty crap themselves, and just sacked Maresca, so IF IF IF we can get Deki/Solanke/Xavi back and firing then we can chase them down.

I mean, our aim was never the top spot this year, so achieving Europa League qualification would be a good reward and getting top 5 would be amazing considering our injury situation... so in terms of the race for Top 5 the race is literally these guys:

xx MNU CHE
-1 SUN
-2 EVE
-3 FUL CRY BRE
-4 NEW TOT
-5 BRI

if only we could keep pace with Saudi Sportswashing Machine who are flying under Howe...

Is it me or poor teams have got better and good teams have gone brick? This league this season, is something else. The table is mad. Someone has to stop them in the red

It's the same as last year, and probably before that. 10 points between Saudi Sportswashing Machine in 5th and Brentford in 10th. A few years ago, you wouldn't have been surprised if that was 15th - 20th. You could also imagine most of these making up the bottom half of the table this season. The money in the league has created extreme shifts in the table each season.

5 Saudi Sportswashing Machine 66
6 Aston Villa 66
7 Nottingham Forest 65
8 Brighton & Hove Albion 61
9 Bournemouth 56
10 Brentford 56
