Merry Christmas ya filthy animals!

Happy Christmas you lot.

You all mean a lot to me (in your own way ;-)).

This place is brilliant, it’s been a constant in my life for, fudge, over half of it.

I’ve not had a great year to be honest, lost my dad, lost a dog, but this place has been somewhere safe, even though some of you are nuts and have no idea about football.

Thank you, Happy Christmas, I hope you all have a great time.

Happy Xmas folks. I better wrap a present or two (hic).

Just finished my wrapping, assisted by Malbec, all that’s left to do is pour a brandy (for Santa) and decide whether or not to light a cigar.

Most of the wrapping is for the wife this year, the kids are at the age where they just want money or ridiculously expensive gadgets (I was the same).

I’m genuinely more excited about the food and drink I’ll be cooking and necking tomorrow than the presents from the family, which I think is how it should be.

Happy Christmas everyone, try and enjoy it, for all the stress and anxiety it can bring Christmas is a time to put away the petty fueds, imagined slights and all that bollox and give and receive the most precious gift of all, time.
Laying the table for tomorrow and it feels like there's a chair less every year, so make the most of it.

It's what Jesus would have wanted.

It's the ideas that are killing the game

My daughter in law is working tomorrow we had our Christmas lunch this afternoon, was lovely but strange as we didn't do presents and I didn't go to cemetery or down the pub with my son, I rarely know what day of the week it is but this along with no game on boxing day is doing my brain in.

Not sure we are allowed to write Merry Christmas anymore.

I agree with the general gist though.

Spare a thought for all the Christians murdered around the world. Thousands in Nigeria and other African nations. We are not allowed to say who is doing it but if we send nice thoughts to the murdered victims we have done our bit.

In a more upbeat tone, I got tickets to see my fathers son, a play with Bryan Cranston, saw him in network at the national. Also a spar day and my favourite as we like to give gifts where we spend time together. My son booked a lodge in the lake District for a weekend so we can hike. I can only do short distances now. But it's good to spend time with him.

Will be up for the villa cup game so anyone in the North stand want a beer PM
me.
