Yep, I've criticised him flapping, punching when he should catch, bawling out his teammates, pushing shots back into play, but today he was exceptionally good. Those reaction saves look "OK" in slow mo when you know where the ball is going, but in real time when the ball might go in any direction, they are incredible.

He's a fantastic reaction saver. It's kind why I felt the complaints about the deflected shots reaction was unfair. Him even getting to a deflection is a massively plus, that he couldn't push it away completely isn't really a fair critic imo.

Yes, but I think that’s because we are more measured in playing out from the back, he has more time on the ball and more options than he had under suicide ball previously.
I think we still take too many risks in playing out from the back though, I hate it.
