*** OMT UCL Tottenham Hotspur vs Villarreal ***

I don't mind that. He's always playing on the limit. Safe isn't in his venacular! But rarely does he make a mistake. One bad pass second half.
Rarely makes a mistake, are you joking? He played a hospital pass into Tel against West Ham that led to a big chance for them. And don't get me started on all his errors last season. Back end of last season and start of this season he's been better, but that's a ridiculous statement.....

Romero is one of our best players. No doubt about it. Some seem to have it in for him though.

he is, but he takes so many needless risks

needs to take better care of the ball

turnovers kill you in football

I don't think he was as bad as some in possession. There was one pass where Romero tried a long pass forward and it went straight to a yellow shirt who stepped forward. But Romero is so much better with the ball than others like Richarlison and even VDV.

But some clearly have an agenda against him. Or want to prove they are right about him. When he's a massive player for us. A quality player.

Had it on whilst working so didn't catch it all

Seemed a meh game

Bent seemed to have a stinker, not sure we should be renewing his contract, seems to struggle when stepping up since the injury

Don't have it in for him at all, I'd say he is our best defender. That doesn't negate the fact he makes a lot of mistakes and takes unecessary risks, to say he rarely makes mistakes is to be polite questionable :)....

To pick him out as the guy who missed passes - I didn't see that tonight. In the first half he was fine, and second there was that one long pass of his that didn't connect.

It is clear we're trying to break fast. But its not there yet. Until we're flowing on the break we could do with building up a bit slower?

but he's playing centre half, a turnover from him puts us in trouble, he can't do that

is it an agenda, or pragmatism?

One bad pass. When there were a flurry around the side. Pick out Richarlison for his many poor passes or Romero for his one poor pass? Agenda.

It was loads of bad passes, and its a theme with him, did it against Bournemouth too, and in many other games.

Turning the ball over in our third is a hundred times worse than turning it over in their third.

Football is about not conceding goals. Center halves should have a zero risk play book.

considering how little threat their AM carried down the middle I reckon he had a decent game

the xGa was ok, Vic didn't make a save, the defence worked

Watch it back. He had a poor clearance - it wasn't a pass. He had one attempted long pass that was intercepted that I can remember. Can you describe others he didn't make?

Frank wants him to make long passes to set us free on the break. It will come. Didn't Romero get an assist recently with one of his passes? Agenda.
