Champions League 25/26

So the champions league is now basically the top 5 leagues, plus a small sprinkle of smaller teams.

Haven’t noticed it this lopsided before.

England has more teams than the smaller nations combined :)

Can see it being tough whoever we draw. Need some good results at home, as can see away matches being a challenge.

That's why the notion of the Super League killing football and that the beauty of the CL is that Aldershot Town could win it was all cobblers.

The SL was just more up front about what it was doing.

Just spotted it myself. 22 teams from the top five leagues. Looks very much like a super league - although there will be another 7 "lesser" teams in there from the qualifiers, on top of the 7 teams in it already. Still massively skewed.

The Champions League has sadly had to go this way to stave off the threat of the Super League.
