Been excellent playing everywhere besides his natural position. Not sure why he isn't getting a chance in midfield when we are crying out for a more defensive midfielder.

Archie played close to 50 games last season. As an 18 year old, he then had to play for months and months for us without a break. I can genuinely see why we would take him out of the firing line. We don't want another Sess on our hands.
Saying that, it's probably about time to get him involved again. His body has had a breather and he can push through May before the summer break.

We were talking about this earlier. I have to believe there is a specific reason around fitness or something, otherwise it just seems really stupid not to be playing/prepping him...

Our biggest weakness this season imo has been our CM, we have no one who can play as a proper DM and it baffles me amd explains why we are so open to opposing teams attacks. I have come to the conclussion that Ange seems to think a defensive player in our CM is not needed. Madness imo.

He said himself, he doesn't really believe in dedicated DMs. His intention is for the entire team and midfield to pick up the responsibility. He ideally wants a baller first who has some defensive nous but sees it as a responsibility of the entire team.

Well lets hope the new man thinks its a important part of a winning team. We are a shambles once the ball gets played into our defensive half of the pitch. I think most of us would agree that our CM has been wide open all season.
