As a light relief from the shoite that is Spurs and moving on from the tremendous Comedy thread, what are peoples favourite drama shows/entertainment shows of all time

Mine in no order:

The Wire
Endeavour
Yellowstone
Sopranos
Landman
Line of Duty
The Newsroom
 
Im not really into tv drama. It just feels like baggy films - stories they soap-ify to string out for financial rather than artistic reasons.

The best i find are the fantasy adaptations - His Dark Materials, Sandman, Good Omens, Game of Thrones etc.

I tried watching succession, but I found the acting and characters to be so incredibly poor, that I couldn't continue. Tried several times to watch it again, to see if it maybe got better, but it didn't.
Especially couldn't cope with that mouth breather Jeremy Strong.

For me it got boring fairly quickly. Watching siblings argue for 2 series was enough

I'd rate it is one of the best ever, fantastic screen play, acting, and storyline. Watched it three times and never gets boring.
