Classic big fish in a small pond. Probably needs to be worshiped. He’s decent and would have probably done well with us. Not playing at the goons and being a sub would hit his ego, rhythm, confidence.

Is he any good? 85m price tag suggests so, but can't remember him at all from our games against wham last season.

Yes Eze has regressed, that is what happens when you choose the goons over the lillywhites.

Terrible ref and terrible shooting from ingerland. Looked a bit timid, and slow in the build up.

Ghana working hard to close everything down. Will they tire? England need a bit more from midfield. Some tricky and shots from the middle would help stretch them. Ghana are getting 2 or 3 men to cover Englands wingers, so need Rice or Anderson to do more in the middle.

England always a few quality players short. Anderson, Reece-James and a couple of others a bit average.

Would show that De Zebri backs Kinsky as his man. I like it. Kinsky showed he’s good enough, so we should back him. Had quick feet and good reactions.

When is Xavi due back? Maddison isn’t a bad option though. So long as Xavi and or Kulu make it back sooner rather than later. Maddison is good in shorter spells. He’s also a bit light weight and I feel at his best when playing a run of circa 10 games. After that he seems to fall off maybe. Kulu...

£45m is apparently what we want for him, which is fair. He is promising, but so inconsistent. Could win or lose you the game. Probably unfair, but something about Bentaleb about him? A real tryer, gives his all. Robust, and wants it so much. In the right hands he could be a huge asset. But...

Xavi will come good under De Zerbi. He's already show he can perform. Now with stability he'll develop more consistency, and we will play to his strengths moving the ball quickly and opening space for him.

Good signing. And a good sign - the best managers build from a strong defence. In this instance that's literal with passing build-up also starting with the CBs. We won't have unlimited funds so some concerns about the midfield and attack. But if we got everyone back fit, we'd also have too many...

Fantastic new CBs. We mst be selling VDV or Romero, would make sense to. We need to upgrade midfield and attack, we've addressed the least weak part of the team :D

Something to be excited about! But it’s our midfield and attack that is a concern.
