    My understanding of racism is lived experience. I've been beaten up as a teen while being called a Paki. I know what it feels like to be a British Pakistani in a world where Reform and others make me out to be some sort of threat or imposter.

    Or she was voted in based on fears perpetuated by the far right. Most of these fears are unsubstantiated. She's clearly gone in with reforms playbook. Say stuff which isn't true and then double down. Keep people angry. And she's clearly not very good at the grift like Farage is.

    These girls were let down by everyone. They suffered in so many aspects of their lives. The rape and grooming being one of the horrific things they suffered. Ultimately they were abandoned by everyone except those who wanted to abuse them. How do we as a society make sure this never happens...

    The first one he did really well. Didn't reflect the seats but he was close. The 2nd one was about Brexit. Corbyn has always been a euro sceptic but the centrists wouldn't allow it within his own ranks.

    Corbyn appeals to some of us. He has broad support in my view. PR voting would give us a real democratic parliament. And I'd imagine the left would make a real dent.

    If it scares utility companies who are making us poorer then so what? This idea that big business and rich people are gonna all run away if we even making them slightly less rich is an idea which is not grounded in reality for me. I'll tell you what did make big business run away. Brexit.

    Yeah state ownership works with competent people in government. Across the political spectrum we have very few exceptional people to to do this stuff.
