    They werw both great players in their day. But we bought them both in their mid 30s, when we already had the likes of Woodgate, King, Keane, Defoe, Crouch etc all unreliable available or past their best. Redknapp benefitted a lot from Jol/Pleat era young signings - Lennon, Bale, Huddlestone...
