    I watched him for Plymouth live once. He played right side of a back 3. He seemed comfortable without standing out. Maybe a bit physically slight (he's tall, but skinny). No mistakes defensively. Tried to use the ball, but the quality of the midfielders in front of him in terms of offering...

    I'd still prefer Dibling for the homegrown arithmetic and because I think he has a higher ceiling. But I'd be delighted with Kudus. We just need someone who can run with the ball and come off the right flank with their left foot. An indirect option from that side could transform our attack.

    I do think he's got the ability to be in the top 2 or 3 #9s in the world. He's a natural born goalscorer. But now is really the juncture where his mentality determines his career path. If he drops his wage demands and goes to a well run team that would build around him, he could dominate the game

    Everyone plays at least 25 games. The midweek team does that, while the weekend team maybe gets 35. Still nearly 1 game a week

    Kulu is due back end of August. We can keep Donley on the bench for the first 3 games (and still loan him out before deadline day if we wish to)

    I don't see anything in common between Elliot and Bervall. I'd see Elliot more as a right-sided Odobert. Which is what we need.

    I think we just need a specialist LB who can rotate in for Udogie and not need to change anything. I'd also clear out a couple of CBs (probably Davies and Phillips) I also think Gray needs to focus on DM now - his utility role is starting to harm his development.
