    VAR: Sponsored by Chelsea

Another thing I would say is that VAR has highlighted how unfit-for-purpose the rules of the game are. They’re far too vague and subjective. Maybe what’s needed is not scrapping VAR, but overhauling the rules. (There’ll always be some subjectivity, but I still think the rules could be massively...

    VAR: Sponsored by Chelsea

Didn’t see this and the Arsenal one at the time. Absolutely unbelievable that VAR are overturning these but Vicario’s getting nothing. I’m totally incredulous.

Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

He did explicitly say that in a recent press conference - I think the Burnley pre-match one.

Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

It’s one thing for it to be ‘not the worst thing in the world’ - it’s another for the majority of fans to be actively hoping for it and then celebrating it.

Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

Say what you want about Ange’s reaction, but no one can deny the fact that the Spurs fans in the ground were audibly MUCH happier as soon as we went 2-0 down. Barely a peep before that, then a massive rendition of ‘Oh when the Spurs’ and ‘Are you watching Arsenal’ as soon as the second went in.

*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Emirates Marketing Project

Which was possible in part because we had more passing options, due to playing an extra midfielder instead of a striker. (Agree we showed better quality on the ball too though).

*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Emirates Marketing Project

Let’s not forget part of the reason we did so well in possession today is precisely because we had no striker.

*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Emirates Marketing Project

‘Are you watching, Arsenal’ - how embarassing for us.

*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Emirates Marketing Project

Seriously fudging cringe, especially when they’re much better than us at the moment.

*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Emirates Marketing Project

Just diabolically bad awareness / decision-making. I feel like even I would’ve tracked De Bruyne, and I haven’t played 11-a-side in about 20 years.

*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Emirates Marketing Project

Not sure how that’s relevant, but ok…

*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Emirates Marketing Project

Can’t believe the atmosphere. Just feels like such a small-time mentality not to want to win. Glad the players aren’t being affected by it.

    ***TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs Burnley OMT***

What do the stats show? 2 goals and 3 assists in 827 mins? Which equals around 6-7 goals and 9-10 assists over a season of 30 full starts? Not bad, but not great.

    Oliver Skipp

Thought he was decent today, aside from letting his man past him a couple of times (which is perhaps to be expected when playing out of position). I still think he might make a decent no. 6. Maybe good enough to be second choice at Spurs. But not sure how much longer he’d be happy with that...

    ***TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs Burnley OMT***

Was at the game, and thoroughly enjoyed it. We stuck at it despite going a goal down, played some good stuff, and fans were behind the team. Sun is shining. A nice reminder that ultimately football should just be about enjoying watching your team play. COYS
