    Exactly. It’s less obvious with keepers saving goals than it is with players scoring goals, so I think a lot of people feel like all keepers essentially save a similar number of goals, which just isn’t true.

    Trouble is it’s a self fulfilling prophecy / vicious circle - I don’t think it’s a coincidence that we have the worst home form and the second best away form this season in the PL, with how toxic the home crowd is right now.

    I think if you have 20 x 0.1 xG chances, the probability of 0 goals is still as low as 12%. Whereas for 2 x 0.5 xG chances, the probability is 25% - twice as likely.

    I do worry a bit about how rigid and turgid we look going forward, tactically. Zero movement and rotation between positions, and there’s such a giant gap between the two midfielders and four forwards.
