Same for me mate. He’s a top lad, proper Geordie and loves them. Told him I was holding him personally responsible if they didn't turn up today. Guess I’ll have to buy him a beer now.

Fair play Saudi Sportswashing Machine. All these theories about teams being on the beach…they showed up today. Doesn’t change things for our squad and manager though. We needed a result before today and we still need one. It’s not beyond us to lose two games so we need to focus on our bit and go and do a job at...

How are things in your house at the moment? Isn’t it amazing how nervous we were at 2 up expecting the Tottenhamification of The Barcodes. Our club has severely traumatised us all…

Saudi Sportswashing Machine just need to weather this storm from the Pikeys. They don’t score and they’ll run out of steam.

Fair play to Saudi Sportswashing Machine. A lot of their fans were happy for them to lose here but they have turned up and are looking like 1970 Brazil at times.

Anyone else finding their Sunday preoccupied and revolving around a 5:30 game not even involving Spurs?

    Randal Kolo Muani

There was a lot of calls, as there always is when any team is doing badly, to "throw in the kids, they'll be better and care more" during our bad run. RDZ and the last few weeks has shown that in situations like this, you can't beat experience. Lads like Bentancur and Pahlinha have been key to...

    Richarlison

No he wasn't. Kane had his City strop in the summer of 2021 when Nuno was manager. Richy was bought the season after when Conte was manager. In 2021/22 Bamford did not score more than Richy. He did the year before.

***OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v Leeds United, Mon May 11th, 8pm, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium***

Exactly. Even if the officials made a mistake, and I'm not sure they did, it's nowhere near as bad as the mistakes you mention from our players. That's not to hammer the players but there are many reasons we are where we are. They're all internal to our club and nothing to do with officiating IMO.

    Richarlison

Ah hang on. When we bought Richy, we had Kane, Son and Kulu across the front. He was brought in to battle with them. It was far from our standards slipping. Prior to that, we were bringing in the likes of Janssen for much less money for that position. Richy has a lot of limitations, I think...

    Daniel Levy - Former Chairman

Have you seen the posts on here and elsewhere about that Chelsea game? Unbridled negativity. When I first looked at the run of fixtures when Tudor came in, I instantly wrote Chelsea off too. 36 years of humiliation has an impact. Thing is, right now they're brick and it's not like we have the...

    Roberto De Zerbi *OFFICIAL*

Spurs needing one point from two games against middish-table opposition. Can't see that being a stress-free experience.

    VAR: Sponsored by Chelsea

I'd interpret that to be if your toe is offside, you're offside. bricky I know, frustrating I know but can't see how you could administer the rule otherwise.

    VAR: Sponsored by Chelsea

Where does it say that in the laws of the game? A lot of the stuff outside of offside is subjective. The Maddison one the other night. Some people think it's a pen, some don't. That's after having two days to digest and review it. The West Ham goal the other day. Again, three days later people...

    VAR: Sponsored by Chelsea

That's the problem. I'm all for the "spirit of the game" but my "spirit of the game" is very different to someone else's "spirit of the game". It's leaves room for interpretation and room for interpretation brings inconsistency. Fans weren't absolutely fine with using our own eyes. Officials...
