MedAlerts search engine pulls data from the VAERS database. As of July 31, 2026, there have been 119,479 reports including 551 related deaths, 9,246 hospitalizations, and 2,266 related disabilities.

@thfcsteff nailed it earlier and the amount of faith put into someone like RFK is scary, not least because his level of flip flopping should be the kind of thing that anti vax crackpots would usually use to highlight their point. There are people that think all sorts of things. Very few beleive the Covid virus did not even exist.

People have differing views on Covid, lockdowns and the vaccine rollout that may differ to yours. Some even take Covid more seriously than you did. I suspect you haven’t had as many booster shorts as Steff has as an example.

Nvic is a well known fear mongering conspiracy theorist org, been discredited a number of time. Medalerts is run by the same group.

Its founded by people of the same ilk as Kate Shemirani who was so deranged she ended up contributing to the death of her own daughter.

If its pulling the data on confirmed deaths from the VAERS database then we should be able to see the raw data from VAERS directly? Thats the link I am referring too, not one from disgruntled parents who are misrepresenting the data.

As for the comment about boosters, I had them regularly because I was in the high risk category because of treatment over the last couple of years for a tumour, so I took it as seriously as I was advised by medical professionals to take it

You can see the raw data it’s just in a format that’s difficult to read and you would have to shift through the 100k reports to find the actual deaths and serous injuries. Med Alrerts just provides that information in a format you can review. But it absolutely is actual VAERS data.


I hope all is moving in a positive direction with the tumour.

My point stands. Most people who are pro vaccine and supported the bull of Covid policy have not had multiple Covid boosters. I’m not saying that’s right or wrong it’s just an example that some take it more seriously than others. I still see people in makes as well as another example.

Here is the thing. I am accused of bias and hypocrisy but I doubt anybody here should be as motivated to be in favour be of vaccinations as me.

My wife had to quit a $100k+ a year job which she loved. She went to school for 6 years. The final year cost us over $50k. We lived in a studio apartment, in a brick neighbourhood, shared a run down car and a treat a meal would be to split 6 Chicken Nuggets form Burger King once a fortnight. Her final full year salary was close to $150k. Had she continued working I would have been able to retire in my late 40’s. She had full benefits that would have covered the entire family. Now health insurance for my family is my largest monthly expense.

Its not an exaggeration to say over the course of her career, that would have likely spanned at least another 15 years, this will have cost us over $2M.

We’re also not completely against vaccines. Our children will get certain vaccines. It just won’t be as many or on the schedule that aligned with the previous CDC recommendation.

But yeh it’s just the algorithm and conservative media that got to me wife that leans left on almost every single other issue to be a vaccine skeptic.

And having measles in a new born baby will cause the spleen to significantly enlarge, often resulting in it splitting. The baby may have died from a lacerated spleen but in all likelihood that spleen being enlarged and then rupturing was caused by the infection by the measles virus in the womb.

It is like all those people who died from pneumonia not the HIV virus ........
 
A baby is exposed to 4000+ different antigens a day (or some such figure) and copes admirably with them yet the imposition of an extra 5 or 6 in one go in vaccines is the straw that breaks the camel's back. Right.

A quick fact check online and every single reputable source says the data interpretation by Nvic shouldn't be trusted for various reasons.

Looking at the history of the founder of the organization its fairly clear of the intentions of such a site.

The child did not have measles. They had measles antibodies. Which are more often than not transferred from the mother to the child if they are vaccinated. The pathologist and corner have not said the spleen was enlarged. They have confirmed the death was not a result of measles.

I dont have to, their use of the data has been widely discredited. They are literally one of the most notorious groups for peddling misinformation

If you and your wife are making life decisions based on data used by a well known conspiracy theory group like Nvic then you might wanna stock up on frozen chicken nuggets.

Yep and I have done a search on why the use of the data by NVICs and subsequent reporting and every reputable report says their interpretation of the data should not be trusted.

None of what they present is scientific verified causation, they have also famously double counted data.

There are also doubts based on self reporting on VAERS and can be coincidental, and lack confirmed medical verification.

So no, I won't be trusting their use of data. I think your wife might have jumped the gun quiting her job if you took medical prompts from them. US medical loss is Burger Kings gain though I suppose
