would people care about stuff like this church exhibition if there wasn't a wider context? Probably less. People are bringing up these things as they see them as microcosms of what's wrong.

Graffiti tags are often marking the terrritory of violent criminal gangs and this sort of stuff covers many of our larger cities, making railway lines and bridges an eyesore. Celebrating it and plastering it all over one of the country's core institutions is distasteful and inappropriate in my view.

@Silly McSilly Face ...posting this for your interest as I genuinely feel you don't know the modern evolution of street art (I won't go any further on the history of street art and civilization)...like everything in life there's good and bad. Yes, gangs and miscreants tag. But we're back to whether you judge a community by the few or the many.

Increasingly, we seem to live in a world where the few are being projected as 'the many' if it suits the agenda someone wants to make (that's on both sides of the fence). We are increasingly blinded to the ubiquitous truth of humankind, which is that MOST people want to get along, enjoy life, be safe, feel somewhat prosperous and hopeful, and not fight. If ever you get the chance, go take some urban art tours on your travels/even in London. You'll see some fantastic art...

We did an art show with clients under Waterloo arches where everyone could get involved and paint. Was tremendous and really informing.

Let’s not get ahead of ourselves here. A few examples don’t make Gary Neville a good or bad person. He should never have said middle aged white mean … had he mentioned some idiotic people etc then I don’t think he would be far off but to tar the same brush is acceptable? Imagine if he said middle aged black people are lazy or middle aged Pakistani men are groomers.

But officers you choose to jump on it, but then cry if the shoe is on the other foot. How about some balance? I’m sure you will say that you have a friend to back up your point.

I can't speak for others but that's exactly the reason for posting these thing, because of one sided a few bad egg examples offered up by others.

It's all anyone's been asking for......balance

When I had mentioned that the victims of the grooming rape gangs mostly said that there was racial undertones to their grooming suggesting that white vulnerable girls were targeted by Pakistani men who said that the girls were worthless white etc by their interpretation of Islam. I got called deluded, islamophobic etc. I said TR got it spot on in his investigation and then was called right wing.

Gary Neville says middle aged white men and he’s a hero.

Yeah how about some balance. It would be great to just call a spade a spade then we can all identify the issues and problem, learn from them, most importantly support the victims and punish those found guilty. That would probably hush any racist/political views as you take it away from that bias and tackle the problem head on without being scared of offending anyone instead of offending everyone.

To address the bold, thats exactly what I and others have been saying forever on here and saying that we go after ALL people who are involved in CSE, rape and sexual violence and stop making out its a one ethnicity problem because its not.

Only then will I be convinced that people really care about the problem and the victims of these crimes than just trying to use it as a weapon against people they don't like.

I am not sure thats an outrageous view

Not in the slightest. I whole heartedly agree with that. Call it how it is, without being offended for others. It silences all of the background noise.

Then for me, lets go after every scumbag circle in all community, ethnicity and religious circle they might exist and let those that want to live here in peace and integrate and be happy, be happy.

Right I am off for some late breakie on that note and pack for my travels. PEACE
