OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Ajax - the second leg

Had a great night yesterday at a Spurs legends night hosted by Amsterdam Spurs.. Clive Allen and Graham Roberts started it off and then Martin Jol joined them.. Superb!

We heard rumours last night that the local mayor has decided that there will be a big screen for Spurs fans in Dam Square... Anybody able to confirm that?

Feel nervous already...

Come on you beautiful Spurs .
 
Sounds ridiculously obvious and easier said than done of course but we need:

-No silly mistakes
-Eriksen, Dele and Son to have the games of their lives
-Preferably an early goal to put some fear into the players and silence the crowd.

Difficult to know what to do with Llorente tbh. I wasn't a big fan of his performance initially in the 1st leg and then rethought it and realised actually we only really got a foothold in the game once we stopped trying to outplay them and injected some power in the midfield in Sissoko and started sending it up long to Llorente.

They really struggled to deal with him imo and I just wonder if its better to have him on at the beginning with Son, Dele and Eriksen buzzing around him or save him on the bench for an option if we're not doing enough to hurt them.

Difficult choice really.
 
damn, i wish i could go to Amsterdam right now, been so many times in the past, to be there for our game would be magical - even if what was just in a bar or something around there

Amsterdam Spurs had reported the mayor deciding against any fan zones etc. Maybe a change of mind but it seems a bit short notice. If true we should expect to see some activity this morning getting it set up.
 
Let's hope the fireworks don't have the same effect on our team as they appeared to have on Barca last night!

Unless they were doing this every hour through the night so that our team literally couldnt get any sleep, it seems like a bit of a pathetic attempt to disrupt us

Its about time those guys stepped up. They all owe us for different reasons:

Eriksen - can't take a dead ball to save his life at the moment
Dele - has been swanning around and slowing everything down since his return
Son - sending off at Bournemouth was the height of stupidity

Lets cash in their overdue debt to us tonight - and in the FINAL!!!

Dare to believe.

I am now imagining them sitting around somewhere working out the shifts and when hey each need to set their alarms in order to go down to the hotel to set off the fireworks, then trudging back to sleep until the next shift :)
 
Soon people will start realising just how important corners are. Just some recent examples:

Bournemouth's winning goal against us
Llorente's crucial winning goal against Emirates Marketing Project
Liverpool's opening goal against Saudi Sportswashing Machine
Liverpool's winning goal last night.

As the team with the most headed goals in the PL and our undoubted firepower in the air, it is truly criminal our lack of return from corners.
 
We've scored the 3rd highest amount of set-piece goals in the league this season.

Unfortunately you don't get to choose if they are deciding goals or not, they come when they come.
 
So what are the yellow card rules, they are wiped at SF stage but if you get booked in both legs do you miss the final or do you need a red for that? If 2 yellows then their LB definitely got booked, should try and exploit that.

What about the 37 other corners in those matches?

How vital were they?
 
Talksport saying that Kane might will be on the bench tonight. if it was anyone else other than Talksport I might believe them!
