I will probably follow him the most out of all our loan players because he's a mate of a mate and lives round the corner to me.

Yeah I reckon so too, he's an Arsenal fan and Arsenal were in for him as well but he wanted to come to us because he believes he will get more of a chance here in the future of breaking into the first team.

Went to Loftus Road today and Taraabt was his usual ball hogging self. Really wound up the locals with his inability to pass the ball to someone in space rather than try to take on the Tangerine defence John Wayne style! I think the guy has potential if Jim Magilton can convince him football is a team game.

 What was disturbing was that Clive Allen came out at half time in a Rangers shirt! I felt a bit better when he started talking about the 82 cup final.

Career

Born in Zarautz, Spain, Berchiche started his career in the cantera of Real Sociedad but left to join rivals Athletic Bilbao over a disagreement.^{[citation needed]} He played 12 games for the Athletic youth team.^{[citation needed]} On 8 June 2007, Athletic Bilbao and Tottenham Hotspur came to an agreement that would see Berchiche continue his footballing development in England at the Tottenham Hotspur Academy.^[1]

He was named as "player of the tournament" while playing for Tottenham Under-18s at the Eurofoot Tournament in Belgium on 5 August 2007. Tottenham won the competition, beating Anderlecht Under-18s 4–0 in the final.^[1]

Berchiche joined League One team Cheltenham Town on a month's loan on 26 March 2009.^[2] Two days later he made his Football League debut in a 1–1 draw at Walsall.^[3]

In April 2009 he made a robust tackle on Scunthorpe United midfielder Henri Lansbury, on loan from Arsenal, leaving the England starlet with a suspected broken leg. Although he was not sent off for the tackle, his manager Martin Allen ordered him to leave the field anyway.^[4]

In July 2009, Berchiche returned to Spain to join Real Valladolid.

went to yeovil yesterday and caulker was superb, reads the game so well and covered well. mason was more quiet and was playing in centre midfield but he did do well to win the penalty

Livermore, who scored in the pre-season friendly with Barcelona, has signed a deal to keep him at Spurs until 2011.

Thanks.  I think he'll do well there, Savage hasn't got the legs to be playing every game in their midfield any more, so he should be getting a good run out there, hopefully moreso than barazite did last season when they had him on loan.

Yuri makes Valladolid move

Yuri Berchiche has joined Real Valladolid on a permanent transfer.

The Spanish defender joined our Academy from Athletic Bilbao in June 2007 and last season spent three months on loan at Cheltenham Town.

We wish Yuri every success for the future.

i am suprised obika is back at yeovil i just assumed he would have gone to a championship club

We've got two in Exeter vs QPR and four in Yeovil vs Norwich today.  I'll have to keep an eye on those.
